Terms of Use

The site is a directory of places to eat and drink in Belize and a tool that lets some vendors take orders. We are not a restaurant and we don't prepare, sell or deliver food. Each vendor is an independent business responsible for its own food, service and prices.

Keep your login details private and give accurate information. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, misuse the site or send false or harmful content.

Listings come from several sources: the businesses themselves, public map data (OpenStreetMap), and menu photos sent in by users and read automatically. This information may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Prices, dishes, opening hours, delivery and specials can change at any time without notice. Each menu shows when it was last updated.

Always confirm prices, availability and hours with the business before you order or travel. A listing that is marked as not yet claimed has not been checked or approved by that business, and showing it does not mean the business is connected to or endorses the site.

When you order from a vendor, by phone, through the site or on WhatsApp, the agreement is between you and that vendor. The vendor is responsible for the food, its safety and ingredients (including allergens), the price, payment, delivery, refunds and any complaint. Ask the vendor directly about allergies or dietary needs.

"Order on WhatsApp" and "Message on WhatsApp" open a chat with the business in WhatsApp, a service run by Meta under its own terms. We don't see, store or control those messages.

You need to be signed in to send a menu photo. We record which account sent each photo. When you send one:

• Only send photos you took yourself or are allowed to share, of a menu or price board that the business shows to the public.
• Don't include people's faces, personal details, private documents, or anything false, offensive or unlawful.
• You give Ontap Solutions a free, non-exclusive, worldwide, permanent licence to use the photo and the information in it to create, correct and show listings and menus on the site and in related services. You won't be paid for it.
• The photo is read automatically by software to pull out dishes and prices, and then deleted. We delete it once it has been read, or within 3 days if it can't be read. Only the extracted text is kept.
• A person reviews the extracted information before it is published. We may edit, publish, reject or remove it at any time, and we don't guarantee that it will be published or that it is accurate.
• You are responsible for what you send. We may remove content and suspend accounts that misuse this feature.

The same applies to anything else you send us, such as claims and problem reports.

If your business is listed, you can claim the listing to manage it, or use "Report a problem" to ask us to correct or remove it. We act on reasonable requests as quickly as we can. Vendors who claim a listing are responsible for keeping their menu, prices, specials and hours accurate.

The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that the site will always work, be error-free, or that any listing, menu, price, special, hour, photo or other information is accurate, complete or current. We don't check vendors' food, hygiene, licences or service, and we don't vouch for any vendor or user.

To the fullest extent the laws of Belize allow, Ontap Solutions is not liable for:

• losses from relying on listing, menu, price, hours or other information on the site, including information from public map data or menu photos sent in by users;
• the food, drinks, service, delivery, prices, payments or refunds of any vendor, or any illness, allergic reaction or injury connected with them;
• content sent by users, or the actions of vendors, users or other third parties such as WhatsApp;
• the site being unavailable, or the loss of data; or
• any indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, business or opportunity.

If a claim is made against us because of content you sent (such as a menu photo you weren't allowed to share) or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Belize.
